The author writes simply and without excessive pathos, so the story is really easy-readable. The plot, of course, is captivating, but the thoughts and inner experiences of the characters, to what much attention is paid, immerses readers even more into the story, do not allow them to break away from reading and also, help them to understand the characters and, in some way, themselves. So, the sequel to the acclaimed “Call me by your name” is more than recommended for those who love sensual, passionate, a bit heartbreaking, and slightly philosophical love stories.
