Andre Aciman and his stories hold a special place in my heart; therefore, it is not surprising that the continuation of the love story of Elio and Oliver caused indescribable emotions, left a pleasant aftertaste and a lot of things to think about at night! The author writes simply and without excessive pathos, so the story is really easy-readable. The plot, of course, is captivating, but the thoughts and inner experiences of the characters, to what much attention is paid, immerses readers even more into the story, do not allow them to break away from reading and also, help them to understand the characters and, in some way, themselves. So, the sequel to the acclaimed “Call me by your name” is more than recommended for those who love sensual, passionate, a bit heartbreaking, and slightly philosophical love stories.
